If I was crying in a van with my friend, it was for freedom from myself and from the land.

THE VERY FIRST PAGE OF CBM. My comic. It now actually exists. I hope I'm not jinxing myself by uploading this here, though. I kinda have to get up to at least 10 pages before I feel I've got something substantial. Anyways, enjoy! (Script was written by Paul once again, who is a creative genius and knows my characters even better than I do. Freaky.)

Now here's something non-art-related I just gotta share with you: A plugin for Firefox that enables you to SAVE VIDEOS from Youtube (or any site with embedded videos). I am WAY too excited about this. The finite nature of the internet requires you to save stuff that you like as soon as you see it...because it might not even be there the next day. Imagine my horror when I found you couldn't save anything off Youtube! :0 (Or so I thought)

Most of the videos will be saved in a goofy format called "FLV" which you can watch using VLC Media Player. I found this program a while ago (prior to discovering the Firefox plugin) and am totally sold on it. It plays just about every video format there is, without having to download any codecs. And it's doubly useful for me, since Quicktime refuses to work on this computer. But it plays Quicktime files too! :D

The vantage falling from the ivory tower...I tried to imagine it, I couldn't imagine it...

Two more sketchbook atrocities. The one on the left is something I doodled when I was actually supposed to be working on a "warp pan" for layout class, which confused the hell out of me. And the doodle reflects that; I swear it is related to the assignment. I was STARTING to get the right idea, there. Anyway, I eventually figured it out. Sort of. And after it was done I still liked the doodle. Good god!

And look! I took the time to colour in Spill Fector! With a mouse! Wasn't that nice of me? Unfortunately, it probably looks too light on your monitor, because this monitor sucks. Haha. I am going to shut up now.

(Oh btw, The Constantines were awesome, though I question whether I should keep going up to the front, because the sound in Louis' absolutely stinks and it seems to be even worse at the front - I don't remember it sounding that muddy when I saw them there two years ago. But never mind.)

I didn't travel all this way just to leave a trail of tears behind!

A sketch crawl drawing that was apparently good enough to make me win a prize. Woohoo! Constantines concert this Friday...woohoo!! And that's all for now!

Include me in your / reading / and I'll / win every time.

Assorted rubbish from my sketchbook, which would be coloured except for the fact that circumstances require that it be coloured digitally, and I've long since lost all my ability to colour anything digitally. :(

Never bored with ESP medium dischord.

CSI: Miami, Humboldt style. This is the second best cartoon for the paper I've ever drawn. To me, Horatio/David Caruso is instant comedy gold; I probably don't need to explain why. (But I will.) Especially amusing is the fact that he has top billing and DOESN'T DO JACK SHIT!!! The most he ever does is take his sunglasses off and put them back on. But what do I know, apparently millions of viewers love seeing his cheesy Shatner-esque acting and his perpetual hands-on-hips-and-head-cocked-to-one-side position. SEE HOW FUNNY THIS IS!!! BWAHAHAHA!!!! XD

Oh, by the way, I should mention that I'm a huge fan of regular old CSI. So much so that, as some of you already know, I really wish I had an action figure of Grissom. If such action figures existed....ALAS!

"He had a 'Kingdom of Evil' book under a German history book. He was...contrite...like that."

Hiya! I'm back, momentarily. Now that I seem to be able to do drawings that actually have some weight (some of the time, anyway), I'll see if I can start posting some more as well. But this isn't one of them. I actually drew this last year, in ballpoint, and enlarged/traced/re-inked and coloured it, for a quick fanzine cover. I have to be nagged to do these covers nowadays, probably because I'm not getting paid to do them. If Dave is reading this, I'm sorry. :(

Anyway, this is an illustration of the song "Fiery Jack" by The Fall. OH GOD! NOT THE FALL, NOT AGAIN. The original ballpoint drawing is on my Livejournal somewhere. I think. I did this one with tech pens and watercolours (watercolour pencils actually). Damn, sometimes I actually kind of kick ass with watercolours, and I'm debating whether or not to colour my comic with them...if I ever actually get to draw the damn thing.

Which reminds me. I've stumbled across a comic which seems kind of similar to mine. It's in England, it has monsters in it, and the protagonist is a wisecracking gent with spiky hair. CURSES! But I don't think THAT comic is winning any points for originality either, because the art is clearly ripping off Mike Mignola. While _I_, meanwhile, just rip off anime (?!) and... R. Crumb, apparently...tee hee hee. But never mind. I'm going to go right ahead and draw my comic anyway.
