Becky Becky Parentheses

A photo of Becky Becky Parentheses (I think?) from the recent INDOOR BEACH PARTY gig organized by Paul Hardsparrow. I really like how some of these photos turned out, so I might try to do some drawings based on them later on.

Oh, and here's some recent art-y things that are not related to the comic. (CLICK AND READ, gosh darn you!)

I do hope these will satisfy you until my next monthly update... XD

Dancin'....don't you wanna go wanna go wanna go dancin'

I've finally taken to doing little sketches in Photoshop here and there. I never used to like sketching with a tablet but now I'm starting to see the advantages - one being that I can make mistakes and don't have to worry about turning the page into a horrible unintelligible smudge from erasing so many times...Anyway, this is a creepy sketch I really liked and may develop further - on paper, however. :p

I'm just tryin' to be a better person!

Ha! This is hilarious - some ancient unfinished My Name Is Earl fanart that I just came across. Totally forgot I drew this. It's not gettin' finished anytime soon, so here it goes! Now if you'll excuse me, I must get back to screaming at InDesign! :p

Son Of Archeopteryx

A fragment of a larger drawing, from a comic splash page...to be uploaded later...oh, I'm such a tease. (This is the best part of it, anyway, so you ain't missing much. :p) Yes, it's another archeopteryx...skull...with horns...for some reason...pasted on a human body...? Apparently, I really like drawing things with horns. Who knew?

Archeopteryx

I declare that if there is not yet a musical group called "Archeopteryx" or "The Archeopteryxes," there should be.

Four Seasons

Plant creatures representing the four seasons, beginning with spring...for yet another new short comic loosely (very loosely) based on Robert Kroetsch's poem "The Seed Catalogue." Oh man, colouring seriously drives me nuts. Colours never look the way I want them to. What's the secret to using colour properly, anyway? :< If Robert Kroetsch made a comic, I suspect it might look something like this.
